I'm Juan Espina

I'm a Computer Engineer based in Maracaibo. Since 2020, I've worked in software development with corporate teams, agencies, and clients in Latin America and the United States.

I like understanding the whole problem: who will use the system, how the data needs to flow, and what it takes to turn the idea into a useful application.

My personal projects give me room to experiment and learn.

Beyond the code

The bridge and lake on this page are Maracaibo's, where I live. The cats hiding around the site are mine: Tico, Lio, Kitty, Tino, Mely, Hoshi, Hikaru, and Yellow. I like learning out of curiosity and keeping side projects going; I'm also interested in crypto and have done some early exploration of Web3 development.

I'm a football fan and a gamer, especially of the Metal Gear Solid series. I love cats, and animal welfare causes matter to me.
